Immersion
Contains Chronicles: The Second Reaping, The Life Manaar and the Death Manaar

It is difficult to say when the Immersion happened. There is little doubt as to where it began.  It was in a village.  Despite an impoverished life, the village held a community.  A community that was rich in the love of life and each other.  People that worked together to ensure that all were fed and taken care of.  Some would say these conditions are the essence of an Immersion.

Mik and his friends are at that age when the future looks infinite in all its possibilities.  Life in The Village has never seemed so good.  This year they attend the county fair as adults.  But there is a world outside that cares little for the country people and their yearly celebrations of life together.  A world where monster's prey on innocents.  A world of evil.
In the aftermath of the destruction of their world, ten refugees struggle to stay alive.  But the Immersion has happened, and they have a greater role yet to play.

The Second Chronicle As Extracted From Immersion

Evil has returned to Arasah after a long respite. The Reaping was only forestalled until this moment, and so it begins again. The Second Reaping. The innocent will pay the price for the usurpers of the power that is released at death. But there is always a redemption. A balance. And sometimes, an immersion.

In the aftermath of the destruction of their world, ten refugees struggle to stay alive. But the Immersion has happened, and they have a greater role yet to play.

This is the First Chronicle of the Manaar. It tells of the origins of the Arasahn Manaar, and most importantly, The Village Immersed.

The Second Chronicle As Extracted From Immersion

The survivors of The Windbeck massacre have found that they are deep within enemy controlled territory. It has been a cunningly efficient invasion. But there is something happening. Something the invaders could not have planned or foreseen. Mana. Even as they try to escape to lands under the Arasahn king’s control, the village kids learn that they can control the power of life.
But the enemy has their own practitioners of the arcane arts. Witches and undead beast that seek to murder every Arasahn. It is a race that will pit the new life manaar against ancient death manaar.

The Third Chronicle As Extracted From Immersion

The Windbeck refugees have escaped the frontlines of a great war. They find themselves in a fortress city called Redstone. Mik has concluded that he and his friends will need to use their new power to save Arasah from the witches behind the invasion. They also need to find help for Stina. Curing her of the frequent lapses into a catatonic trance when the death mana holds dominion over her must be his first priority.
The young manaar seek answers in Redstone. To learn how the great wizards from Erimoca used their power against the ancient death manaar. Now, time is of the essence. The enemy is seeking the life manaar that have disrupted their plans.
